Begin hands at sides, feet together facing north.
Keeping hands at sides, bow with head forward (north).
Step out with right foot into ready position (feet shoulder width, fists vertical extended forward at belt height).
C-step forward with left foot into Sanshin stance facing north (toes are pointed in & knees are bent to protect groin). Cross arms bringing left arm to outward block position under tension, right arm to chamber (should take about a count of 4).
Right hand reverse punch under tension, left arm to chamber (approx. count of 4).
Open left foot and C-step forward with right foot into Sanshin stance. Bring right arm to outward block position under tension, left arm to chamber. Foot motion is fast, arm motion is slow & under tension.
Left hand reverse punch under tension, right arm to chamber.
Open right foot and C-step forward with left foot into Sanshin stance. Bring left arm to outward block position under tension, right arm to chamber.
Right hand reverse punch under tension, left to chamber.
Extend left arm in a reverse punch under tension while leaving right arm extended.
Bring both fists straight back to your chest under tension. Your elbows should be pointing east & west respectively.
Extend both arms back to double punch position under tension.
Snap both arms back towards your obi and quickly cross forearms (left to the rear, hands open, palms toward you) and moving into double outward blocks, hands open, palms facing each other. Arms should be bent 90o, upper arm horizontal, lower arm vertical, elbows pointing east & west.
Using inward circular motion, forearms crossing (right hand inside), snap arms down into double downward blocks, hands open, palms to the rear.
Step forward with right foot across your left foot and pivot 180o, falling into a Sanshin stance facing south, right leg to the rear. Right arm in outward block position, left arm in downward block position, both hands open, palms facing north. Keai point.
Rotate right wrist in a wide circular motion so that palm faces forward (south) in a slight 'grab' position.
Pull right hand back (approx. 6 inches) in a slight outward arc, as if guiding opponent past you.
Open left foot and C-step with right foot into a Sanshin stance. Left arm in outward block position, right arm in downward block position, both hands open, palms facing north.

Pull left hand back (approx. 6 inches) in a slight outward arc.
Open right foot and C-step with left foot into a Sanshin stance. Right arm in outward block position, left arm in downward block position, both hands open, palms facing north.

Pull right hand back (approx. 6 inches) in a slight outward arc.
Pivot 90o to the right into a Sanshin stance facing west, left leg to the rear. Right arm in outward block with closed fist, left arm chambered.
Quick reverse punch with left hand.
Quick reverse punch with right hand.
Left leg front kick, keeping right arm extended, and step back into Sanshin stance, left leg to the rear.
Quick reverse punch with left hand.
Bring left foot behind right and pivot 180o ending in a Sanshin stance facing east, right leg to the rear. Left arm in outward block with closed fist, right arm chambered.
Quick reverse punch with right hand.
Quick reverse punch with left hand.
Right leg front kick, keeping left arm extended, and step back into Sanshin stance, right leg to the rear.
Quick reverse punch with right hand.
Pivot 90o to the right and shuffle southward (dragging left foot behind) into a Sanshin stance facing south, left leg to the rear. Right arm in outward block with closed fist, left arm chambered.
Quick reverse punch with left hand.
Quick reverse punch with right hand.
Left leg front kick, keeping right arm extended, and step back into Sanshin stance, left leg to the rear.
Quick reverse punch with left hand.
Catch to the right (right hand palm up on right side of belt, left fist vertical on top of right palm, like a teacup).
Bring left knee up, pivot left 180o and come down in a back stance, right leg to the rear, facing north. As you turn, bring left fist in a high arc over left shoulder coming down into a backhand strike to the bridge of the nose.
Step forward (north) with right leg, set and front kick with left leg, pulling in opponent with left hand (toward your chest) during kick. Land in Sanshin stance facing north, right leg to the rear, left hand in downward block, right hand chambered.
Reverse punch with right fist. Chamber left.
Overhead block with left arm (veins out), fist closed. Chamber right.
Catch to the left (teacup on left).
Bring right knee up, pivot right 180o and come down in a back stance, left leg to the rear, facing south. As you turn, bring right fist in a high arc over right shoulder coming down into a backhand strike to the bridge of the nose.
Step forward (south) with left leg, set and front kick with right leg, pulling in opponent with right hand (toward your chest) during kick. Land in Sanshin stance facing south, left leg to the rear, right hand in downward block, left hand chambered.

Bring left knee up, pivot left 180o and come down in a back stance, right leg to the rear, facing north. As you turn, bring left fist in a high arc over left shoulder coming down into a backhand strike to the bridge of the nose.
Set left hand by opening palm, fingers pointing forward (north), palm facing east. Crescent kick with right leg, hitting left hand. Bring right leg back to starting position, ending in a left Sanshin stance. As you land, throw a downward punch with the right fist, looking down, and chamber the left. 2nd keai point.
Step back with left foot into a cat stance facing north, left leg to the rear with toes pointing west and knee bent, on the ball of the right foot (which supports only 10% of your weight). Bring hands to armpits and, under tension, your open palms should move down the silhouette of your body, fingers pointing down, heels dragging along your gi, from your chest to your belt, where the heels then come together (slowly, smoothly) to block a front kick. You're still looking down.
Hands rotate clockwise quickly to snap opponent's ankle. Palms face each other, left hand over right, left fingers point east, right fingers point west. As you twist ankle, your right heel stomps to the floor. 3rd keai point.
Head snaps up and your right foot steps into a ready position facing north, fists vertical in front at belt height.
Move right foot next to left, open palms at your sides, and bow.
